JavaScript API

Using our JavaScript API you can integrate Mind-Trace services deep into your own web applications. From creating and settings up experiments, to recording data and accessing raw results, it is all possible.

The API is provided both as a JavaScript file that can be included using the <script> tag and as an npm module. We provide typings such that the library can be used seamlessly from TypeScript. See the getting started page for details on how to setup Mind-Trace in your environment.

Currently the JavaScript API contains two main components:

  • REST API wrappers
If you want to interface directly with the Mind-Trace servers, then the REST API wrappers are for you.
  • Data collection components
Want to use one of the Mind-Trace metrics such as gaze or emotion detection on your own website or application? Use the data collection components to setup new recordings.
